One binder of High Holiday sheet music of the Beth Israel choir is also included. Additionally, it contains form letters, poster boards, and newsletters from the Washington Heights-Inwood Council for Soviet Jewry, in which the congregation's rabbi and various members were involved. Beth Hillel, founded in 1939, had been a Conservative congregation which had been moving steadily towards tradition over the years.
